Parquetry Flooring

The art of parquetry dates back to 16th century France, where hardwood boards were carefully shaped and laid in precise geometric patterns as a practical alternative to marble slabs. Due to its intricacy and the level of skill required, parquet flooring was only found in homes of the affluent. AST is one of few remaining companies with a dedicated parquet processing line, offering both standard and ‘big block’ sizes to cater for different project types. A wide range of parquetry is held in stock and available for immediate dispatch, eliminating the need for lengthy lead times.
